Certain facts have been gathered from Detour records, Punk77 and Link2Wales web sites. Although, Bombsite fanzine has contributed to those sites and I have personal correspondence with Dizzy at Detour, Paul at Punk77 and Neil at Link2Wales. A special thanks to Johna from Bradford and Melanie at Soulkiss
Many of the images come from our Bombsite journalist days and are original. Some have been scanned or ripped. My intention for this, is not for personal gain, but to encourage more interaction toward research of this fascinating period. If anyone wants to use my pics or commentary please feel free to go ahead, please give credit to, or link to, Bombsite fanzine.
Bits and bobs were likely taken from different punk diaries on the web. An interesting site from Manchester called Manchester District Music Archive is a fabulous web model that should be created for all UK cities [especially Liverpool]. I also enjoy another great blog named music-ISMS for some Liverpool music research.
All quotes used with great respect for the music journalists, musicians and bands of the day, and to the individuals that still research the fabulous youth energy that exploded from the UK in 1977. Are we ready to do it again?
